Romertopf Baked Apples Recipe

Ingredients
| Apples | 1 | |
| Sugar | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Almonds | 4 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Raisins | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Rum | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon - a pinch | ||
| Wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 475F.
2) Remove the cores from the apple with or without peeling their skins.
MAKING
3) In a small bowl, add in sugar, almonds, raisins, rum and cinnamon. If desired, add in a little cream to make the mixture smooth. Mix well.
4) Fill in the mixture into the cored apples.
5) In a soaked romertopf, place the stuffed apples at the bottom of the vessel.
6) Pour in the wine and add little cubes of butter over the apples.
7) Cover and cook for about 30 minutes or till the apples turn soft.
SERVING
8) Serve the Baked Apples with a sauce like advocaat.
