Spaghetti Pie - modified PIP Recipe
Ingredients
8oz Spaghetti
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1/3 cup parmasan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 lb lean ground beef, italian sausage etc..
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 jar(15 oz) spaghetti sauce
2 cups chopped squash, spinach and or peppers
3/4 cup shredded cheese
Directions
Cook spaghetti according to package; drain. Add butter, parmesan cheese and eggs to hot spaghetti. Form mixture into "crust" in 10 inch pie plate.
Spread chopped veggies over crust
Brown hamburger and onion until cooked, drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Pour over chopped veggies.
Bake , uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
Makes 1 10 inch pie serves 6
