Cherry Puddles Cake
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened (I used margarine)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
4 eggs
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1-20 ounce can cherry pie filling
How to make it
In a bowl, mix soften margarine and sugar.
Beat in buttermilk, eggs, lemon juice and vanilla.
In another bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture.
Coat a 13x9x2-inch paking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour batter into pan.
Use a knife to "divide" batter into 24 rectangles.
Spoon a small amount of cherry pie filling onto center of each rectangle.
Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
