Apple Torte

4 tbs soft butter
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
1.2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 peeled and cored apples cut into 1/8 slices

Preheat oven 350 deg
Butter 9" cake pan
Cream together sugar and butter, baking soda and salt.
Mix dry ingredients into wet batter
Stir in apples
Turn into pan and spread evenly
bake for 1 hour and allow to cool for a few moments - serve warm
